The Conrail Historical Society is holding its second quarter 2024 membership meeting in Rochester NY on Saturday May 4th.
9am-11am at Rochester Model RR Club https://www.rocmrrc.com/ featuring a beautiful 2,400 square feet HO scale layout in downtown Rochester. Located at 150 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604 in the basement of the First Universalist Church, located on the corner of South Clinton Avenue and Court Street in downtown Rochester. They layout has been featured in numerous publications as we are very excited to visit.
12pm: Pizza Lunch at the Rochester and Genesee Valley RR Museum https://rochestertrainrides.com/ Station Building. The museum currently rosters more than 40 pieces of historic railroad rolling stock. The station address is 282 Rush Scottsville Road Rush, NY 14543. The station building is actually located at the bottom of a hill from the museum building.
12:30pm quick meeting while we're finishing up eating
1:15pm Board train for 15 minute ride from station to museum building.
1:30pm-3:30pm Enjoy the museum.
3:30pm Board the train to head back to the station.
3:45pm Arrival at the station
Cost will cover your admission to both locations, food, and the train ride.
